G Kay Service has a long-standing history rooted in hard work, automotive passion, and commitment to the community. The business began in 1946 as Long’s Service Garage and Sunoco gas station, serving local drivers for generations. In 1975, George Kay joined the shop when it was operating as a Citgo gas station and repair facility, bringing with him a passion for cars and a dedication to quality service.

In 1980, George purchased the business and continued building it into the trusted neighborhood garage it is today. Through decades of honest work, personal service, and a commitment to doing things the right way, G Kay Service became a staple in the community.

In 2022, Gene Barton Jr. took ownership as George prepared to step away after many years of dedication. Today, G Kay Service continues to honor its history while carrying forward the same values it was built on—quality repairs, honest service, and treating every customer like a neighbor.
